Random Poetry

Words, reverie, spiralling darkness, cold.
An oubliette, silent, retentive and old.
When will it end? Why do I suffer?
Will my I sanity hold me tougher?
Or will I fail, give In.
Not even try to fight or swim?
To beat my demons, take flight, soar,
Thus all will hear my roar.

Grrrr

What is that makes certain stereotypical aspects of a race so profoundly clear to only a few? And why oh why do people tout the things that made them great to excuse them being a dick to you, I am in the unfortunate situation where I am whoring myself to a restaurant franchise in order to make enough money to buy things I dont need to make me feel more better about my diatribe of a life. What I can't tAke though is people who are insuffrably rude just so they can get what they want, but if the tables were turned, they would hate it as I do.

Midnight Munchies

OK so I know this probably isn't the best way to start a blog but being the middle of ''my'' night I got really hungry and was craving something Japanese. So this was what my humble little mind came up with.

Boil some instant noodles and keep the dressing that comes with it in its packet on the side for now. Boil the noodles and after two minutes put them in a bowl of cold water with ice cubes. Then take a tiny bowl and mix in the noodle flavouring with hot water [about 3 tablespoons], soy sauce, and whatever assortment of spices your palette requires. Next, for the final simple step, take 2 eggs, crack them into a small bowl and cover with cling film [plastic wrap, Saran wrap] NOTE: pierce the egg yolk several times to prevent explosions! Put the covered egg bowl into the microwave and heat until cooked [30 seconds - 1.5 minutes, depending on the strength of your microwave. When its done take it out, let it cool for 2 minutes, and then cut it into strips of one inch each! Take the noodles out of the cold water [Do not soak for more than 4 minutes] and put them into a bowl, add the sauce mixture, and strips of egg, and whatever garnish you desire, in my case I put sliced ginger, parsley and fresh coriander.

I've been planning to start writing this blog for quite a while now, and you can expect a variety of tirades on various subjects coming your way very soon. Problem was I couldn't figure out where to start, I guess these things have a way of working themselves out, so try the recipe and let me know if you like it!

Rantings

The first thing you should know about me is that I'm a dick. I don't go out of my way to be mean to people, it just sort of happens sometimes. I believe that first and foremost in life one must speak his/her mind. There is far too much pussyfooting going on in the world today, political correctness has reached its limit in my opinion. Now I'm not condoning in ANY way the use of any of the ism's i.e Racism, Sexism, Ageism e.t.c and so forth, but I've been noticing more and more how people can no longer speak their mind because it might in some way offend someone, when did THAT become ok? We live in an age of supposed enlightenment, but why is it that more we progress, the more we seem to go backward. It fucks me off more than you can imagine!!

West Five

what is it about sexuality that causes such questions, which in themselves always feel like a slow death, as if each question is a papercut. Now i dont consider myself anything you understand, I believe everybody has their own complex sexual structure, which is unique unto them much in the same way as individuality is, and just like the latter, its complicated, and can not be put into the three neat catefories of gay, bi, and straight, that in itself is archaic.

Recently i went our with some friends to a random local gay pub, nothing special you understand, just men, drinks, and way to many sparkles everywhere, [not that i care, i like a good sparkle every now and again] anyway i digress, basically, that night they were doing this weird ass thing of giving you nametags as you entered, so before you've even had a drink, you're being forced into this primitive search for your other half, its not bad enough looking for mr.right, but now people are making casual lounge-y type lido deck games out of it? adding insult to injury i was given the nametag 'Sonny' and told i had to search for Cher of all bloody people, now i like Cher, shes a survivor, her music aside, i think the woman has balls. However the very concept of having to look for her alter ego in a bar was really just not my thing, specially when my very loyal friends decided to find her for me, and then i was ambushed...
Cher was vertically challenged at 1.68 with a nose that bats could cave in, and eyes that looked like a boa constrictor was wrapped around his waist. Desperately trying to act as straight as he could this young fellow introduced himself and tried to get me to have a drink at the bar, I politely refused, and tried to sit down with my friends, but oh no, he wasnt having any of that, in a trasforming outburst that could rival caterpillar to butterfly, he flings his hand out, grabs me, and goes 'ohhhhhhhh don't be a little tease'. At the bar, thigns jsut got worse, he was asking me those innane questions which are obviously faked and vaguely masked to try and find out information about your sexual orientation and availability, Its so fucking boring, i'm just stood there thinking, who the fuck is this little twirp and why am I putting up with someone when he blatantly annoys me! The answer is of course human nature, I dont mean to sound patronising, but everyone has their own way of dealing with random strangers, my friend Sam would just walk away dis-interested, Julie would start laughing uncontrollably while trying to inch away, but jsut end up tripping forcing a first contact type situation when said weirdo helps her up, and what do i do? Nothing that animated i'm afraid, no i nod and smile, thats it, nod and smile and get out of there as soon as possible, and then at this point, I cant tell you where cuz i wasnt listening to him, he catches my attention by saying 'Oh you're straight' with a semi-judgemental tone! I was like fuck this, did my shot, told him i was a fudgepacker supreme and fucked off. Half an hour later I saw him again with his new 'boyfriend', they were divorced after 2am...

This situation repeated itself in a rather un-toward fashion later on outside when Sam and I were having a sneaky cigarette, FUCK THE ANTI-SMOKING BULLSHIT, although i'll shut up now cuz im in the process of quitting haha, anwyay.

Musings

Beginnings are horrible, you never know from what point to start organising your head, being that in most cases, there's a lot in it. I spend a lot of nights not getting much sleep, insomnia is a curse at best, a frightening trip into your own psyche and madness its worst. I have always had a method for holding onto my sanity however, when sitting in my room in the middle of the night, with only my thoughts, smoking to many spliffs, and most recently tic-tacs. All these provide me with comfort, and a conduit for my imagination and inspiration, yet why is that? Why do i feel i need these foci in order for me to produce anything? Why is my human psyche so dependant on a crutch to feel better? Is it because

We go through many stages as a human, and most of these stages contain moments of harsh truths which propell you closer to becoming an old cynical cunt sitting in a chair on your own wondering and pondering what happened to the world you knew, change can be frightening. However its all about how we use these truths, for hiding from the world, or for taking action and changing it. So many things are wrong around us and everyone knows it, yet no one does anything, why is that? Are we not worthy or saving? I dont suppose so, but i'd like to think so.
Our race has committed so many sins against itself, isms, war, poverty, environmental, genocides, lies e.t.c what if our worsening condition is a mirror effect of what we reap? What if Karma is not a religious principle but a simple truth. What if you, just you, one single person had the ability to change his fate around him every day based on his actions?
